Kentucky CCDW class
If you want to acquire your KY CCDW license to ensure reciprocity when traveling, J.R.'s GunWorx can help. We conduct CCDW classes as demand occurs. For now, we hold classes when we have a minimum of 3 registrants. The class location and date will be announced (usually on our Facebook page) when we have enough people registered..

Description & Requirements
In this CCDW class, we will discuss KY laws about firearms, carrying concealed, legal liability, and the use and misuse of force. Other topics include gun safety, marksmanship principles, live fire, weapon cleaning, and the proper nomenclature and functions for the pistol and the revolver. The course includes a written test on these topics.
While most cram this class into a single Saturday, J.R.'s GunWorx typically splits it up. We start the academic portion of the class at 5 PM on a Friday and usually go to 10 PM. A small supper is provided during a break from the academics. The range portion occurs at 2 PM the following day along with the final hour of academics to complete the course. And when we do schedule a class on a Saturday, usually provide a small lunch.
